You would need to walk about 50 miles (80km) to use up a single pound of body fat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The better way of taking off weight is to eat fewer calories. Cut down on foods that supply few nutrients but are high in calories - sugar, fats and alcohol- and to keep consumption of NUTRIENT-RICH FOODS- FISH, MEAT, CHEESE, FRUIT and VEGETABLES at a normal level.
